Very feminine and longstanding; moderate projection. I love the spicy bay/pink pepper top notes here, the feminine heliotrope and jasmine florals, that sweet rich tonka, vanilla, patch base. It has a vintage quality while still being very modern -- I could believe this being a fragrance from the 50s or 80s, but it still smells relevant for 2019 (which is crazy because it was made in 2005). Elegant is a perfect word for this perfume. Grosse Auswahl der besten Marken Versandkostenfreie Lieferung Kauf auf Rechnung ✓ I love orientals and unisex fragrances and i think this is very unisex IMHO and a soft oriental. I bought this anyway, as it is totally different. I actually quite like this! Strangely, when the weather heats up I start craving warm, cuddly scents at night. It gives off a powdery floral vanilla musky scent on me. I wear a lot of different perfumes, but this one has recently received an unusual amount of compliments from men. And the drydown is unfortunately rather synthetic. Okay, I said that smells kind of strange, not unpleasant, just not what I expected. Classy scent, what a beauty. I was intrigued because it's a Dominique Ropion creation, and I wasn't let down. Sweet and Spicy; it is like that beautiful woman who knows she's beautiful and has an attitude to match her beauty. This is such a strange, yet unique perfume. Not sure why everyone gets so much of the west Indian bay, I think it smells more like a spicy vanilla. I find the vanilla rather dry and a bit herbal in the opening but without loosing it's warmth. It's sexy without trying too hard. Either way, the bay note is completely acceptable to me now. Ropion is one of the best. After researching on Fragrantica, I knew it would be different because of the bay leaf, but I love all the other notes so I wasn’t afraid of that top note. Not a challenging fragrance but rich and comfortable. I blind bought this perfume together with Calvin Klein Shock For Him. It has a very LONG staying power and the notes in this perfume are of good quality, the details on this bottle are absolutely gorgeous. There are a lot of elements here that you've smelled before: green opening, perfectly done floral middle, and delicious wood/vanilla base. Yes, it is sweet, but the sweetnes is not sugary, not frtuity reminds me a lot of scent of honey...And I sampled scent like that somewhere. › Jetzt bestellen! Totally unisex and a great compliment getter, this is the kind of vanilla I like, spicy and aromatic. Most vanillas are either too sugary, sometimes cloyingly so or too gourmand. This is neither, I have nothing against gourmands (I love Fantasy, Fancy, Egeo Choc and plenty of others) but there are many perfumes beyond that genre. İt is sweet and fruity but also warm. Good, but not my favorite. It is not , oriental nor vanilla , it is very Occidental and tobacco ! I pick up a plasticy note in the top but it fades within minutes. I am a big fan of Ropion's work, but Lalique Le Parfum is not among my favorites. This smells like a classy, easy going lady. I like this more and more as it develops. Maybe I was finally open for change and experience, knocking down the proverbial walls during a time of uncertain restrictions. A creamy mix of almond and vanilla, with the bay leaf throwing in a dash of something green and fresh, but only a little pinch really. I'll continue through to the base to see if this fragrance redeems itself, but it appears that this one is just not compatible with my skin chemistry. This one here is steps up the ladder for me , and I'll stop with her . After being completely blown away by blind buy Lalique Amethyst I had to buy this one too. This isn't like the sweet, sugary vanillas I normally wear. There are so many high quality fragrances in this brand with such a reasonable price, and this is One of them.. An excellent unisex vanilla oriental. I received it as a part of a perfume subscription, and I have a 30 day supply of this juice, I am yet to decide if I will buy the full bottle. I never had such a strange experience where the smells turns to an absolutely different group of perfumes three times. The top notes are fleeting, almost to the point that they can be disregarded. Magical perfect perfume. while it is at this price. This scent rides on the powder train as the caboose - i smell more vanilla than powder and more spice than sweetness- I totally love ---wait what was I talking about the scent is gone already. The vanilla is sweet but not edible sweet, similar to Hypnothic Poison. I like it, but not in love, I can feel sg interesting and weird in this composition, reminds me sg old smell in the past like camphor, sweet and bitter at the same time, maybe cause of the bay with the vanilla. First I must say that I am not a vanilla or gourmand fan, but Lalique Le Parfum not only smells vanilla to me, it is also the most beautiful almond perfume that I ever had. It's a Perfume with a capital P. It's big, boisterous, powdery, sweet, smooth, retro, opulent... all of those fun adjectives. My father loved Cabochard but didn't wear it because , at the time, Cabochard was deemed feminine. Although in Dragon i find the almond and vetiver makes it more bitter. Are you an oriental? This Lalique was a really fun fragrance to try out. Don't be fooled by the opening, which is a bit unusual. It is not far off of man's Lalique Hommage a L'Homme and Bentley for men. But if you realy like a scent wear it proudly, don't waste your time smelling something you don't really like. It remains fresh and light, soft after the top "punch" which seems heavy. Fragrantica® Inc, San Diego, CA United States, Complex and very well balanced oriental vanilla, not too gourmand, more mysterious and not sweet. The bay is just too strong and medicinal to my nose and I can only detect the slightest amount of sweetness lurking in the background. However, the original “Lalique” bottle has deeper, richer scent compared to the “Lalique Le Parfum” bottle. I see the appeal, and it could be the perfect fit for someone else but this just does not feel like "me". It is definitely strong and wafts pleasingly. Lalique did it again for me: love at first sniff. I put both in the same aromatic vanilla family in my collection. Some men asked me what l wear but l never told them, only to my friends. Top notes are West Indian Bay, Pink Pepper and Bergamot; middle notes are Heliotrope, Almond and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood and Patchouli. Fragrance Reviews: 1043080 Here is a tip, mix with Aquolina Pink Sugar (yeah, i said it) and it will last forever and you will receive major compliments (this is not a fable). It is creamy with a touch of sweetness, thanks to the vanilla, almond and tonka accord. Yammy, creamy and a bit loud. I got almost a little tense after spraying it once and decided to lay down and wait a while, it wasn't sickening just somehow overwhelming at first. Perfume lovers: 619265 It's classy and sensuous, sweet without being silly. I don't hate it but I'm not in love with it either sadly. It reminded me of something I have smelled before but couldn't put my finger on. Smells more unisex than fem fragrance fortunately :) I don't know why but reminds me also Lolita Lempicka's scents... OMG!I don't have words to describe how much i love this scent! The sandalwood, bay and patchouli make this very easy for a man to wear. Are you a vanilla? It is differnt and not a croud pleaser. Such a lovely scent but there is no lasting power whatsoever :( Stunning bottle as well! Ok, I have to stop blind buying perfumes. Love it! My gloves smell absolutely glorious this morning. Not for me. Sweet, soft vanilla with pink pepper and powder and lots of bay leaf. 5 with On me it smells like a very spicy powdery vanilla but it stays pretty close to skin maybe it will have better performance on clothes. This is very powdery and reminds me of musk stick lollies. I could see this being an easy reach, as it sits light on my skin (as long as I don't over spray), and can easily be just an everyday fragrance. It is all in the “density” and “longevity” of the two, and not in the differences of the notes/ingredients. A very herbal opening evaporates immediately into a unique dry vanilla. It gives me some good memories. It wears on me like a soft shawl and I can smell it all day. The vanilla and tonka bean along with the bay leaf is soooo wonderful! It is exactly this smell that I detect for a short time in Le Parfum in concert with the Bay, 'Laurus nobilis'. I love vanilla and patchouli scents and I have a fondness for all things Lalique. It's vanilla herbal tea with an excessive amount of honey in it. I am not - it gave me a bad headache... Lalique Le Parfum Perfume 3.3 oz EDP... (. Definitively unisex, husband likes it, we both do. Dont put on a lot. It opens up almost medicinal because of the bay leaf note but this is truly a masterpiece in my opinion. Its a very spicy vanilla. I would say it’s not a safe blind buy though; because it’s unusual and might not be what you’re expecting of a “vanilla frag,” depends on what you’re familiar with. And it turns out to me much more than I expected! It’s a very sensual and elegant aromatic vanilla. Or maybe it was as simple as I hadn't the right one, or maturity myself, to appreciate scent structures that were less familiar to me. This scent is for a grown up woman, who knows what she wants from life. I bought it blind. I did a blind swap for this about 7 months ago and thought it had something off that I didn't like so I was disappointed and put it away. Not sure how to explain, but it is in my opinion a good 'spa' or self-care day perfume :). Apparently I have the reformulation though (damnit) so that could be why it’s just eau de water strength. It's a lot like a Jimmy Choo Shalimar combo that's not as candied as Choo. It is a treat guys! Vanilla with bay. Beautiful heavy bottle. I gave this one another try last week and my "like" turned out to be a "love". But my favorite time to wear this darling, is when I'm settling my thoughts and mind to the task of slumber. So when the opportunity came, I blind purchased it. Afterwards, the almond and a bit of heliotrope sets in and this is very delightful. Overall, Le Parfum is an excellent gourmand scent with good performance. Once again, another lesson in not giving up on a fragrance too soon. One of my favourite late autumn/winter fragrances. Wow, talk about a STEAL!! The bottle impressed me the most. Horrible. The nose behind this fragrance is Dominique Ropion. It is one that I cannot wear when I am feeling sick, or wanting to impress... it is one that I will wear on those very few and rare days when I feel like having a relaxing and indulgent day. | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano | Русский | Polski | Português | Ελληνικά | 汉语 | Nederlands | Srpski | Română | العربية | Українська | Монгол | עברית | Luxois Watches | I love this perfume, it's so unique, dusty, glamorous! The new formula is still very enjoyable and wonderful if you can’t find the original one anymore. Those on whose skin this works won't need to apply very much to get a nice scent cloud. This was a blind buy (based upon the very good reviews here). İ cant really get any vanilla in this. The bottle is GORGEOUS, and the price is ridiculously reasonable. The thing I like about DHI is the herbal lavender opening but it quickly fades into dull powdery vanilla nothingness - Le Parfum in turn keeps the aromaticity and only sweetens up a little bit. I blind bought this based on my love of vanillas and gourmands. This is a good thing. Firstly, the bottle is beautiful. I bought it a while ago but I wouldn't want to wear it every day, it's too special. Lalique Le Parfum was launched in 2005. ~ I'm in love ~ finally a perfume that is not , I repeat not heavy in the "vanilla " department . Isn't it strange how you can dislike a perfume , put it away, have a craving months down the road and suddenly love the scent! Do you know those fragrances that confuse your senses so much that you immediately dismiss them, believing you will never wear them no matter how many reviewers swear it’s lovely? I recently tried this one day after work. But what I got was something a bit more exotic. This is so sultry, so sexy. This was my favourite winter scent when I was living in London. A bit dated - reminds me of some of the better stuff from the 80's, specifically, the powdery rose of Exclamation - but this is much better blended, with better ingredients, as well as having a more prominent balsamic note. I really wanted to like this but it is very linear and I think that is whats holding me back. Totally underrated, super cheap, classy, with a beautiful decanter (as always in Lalique collection) and a great nose behind that (D Ropion). Warm and classy blend of vanilla, tonka, pink pepper and almond - at least these are the most prominent in the far drydown. I don't like vanilla body spray like Victoria secret . First of all, I am a fan of sweet fruity fragrance aka what other people call as a girly frag. It smells like a mixture of raw vanilla and bay leaf, light scent perfect for the summer time, I blind bought this, despite the mixed reviews. Artikel aus echtem Gold (alle Goldlegierungen). What a huge disappointment , a low grade fragrance with great names attached to it ! It is a heavenly oriental. Einfach Auftrag einstellen, Handwerker auswählen und Geld sparen! The addition of the bay takes it from yawn to something interesting and unusual. How I couldnt detect the tonka bean (which is one of my fav notes) last time and the Indian bay that takes this beauty to another level and makes it a star among its competitors? Classy and smells rich. I’m in my mid 30s now and found a half empty bottle of this in my late mother’s stash...and I like it this time around! Hmm I guess this perfume is a lot different on me than on others. I think the fact that I had gloves on masked the evolution while I was running errands. Lalique Le Parfum is the perfect vanilla with something more: it’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s balsamic... but all that has been done before. This is an absolute cheapie (30 bucks for a bug bottle) that is worth it's price ten times over. The longevity is very good too. A green tonka-vanilla! Finally, it turns into an expensive version of vanilla and sandalwood that stays close to your skin for the rest of the day. There's nothing left from the bitterness I experienced before. If it had a niche package and price tag, no one would call it cheap or synthetic. It turns out me and everyone around me love Ropion's creations. I think it was this odd herbal note that put me off at first but kept me coming back to it at the same time. It starts off with an 80's vibe of pepper, patchouli, and jasmine. I started taking clothes off my bed and all of a sudden, I took the blouse that I had on that I changed before I left to run my errands. First try, this is a total knock-out. It started with spicy sweet scent, and disappeared into almost nothing.. then after a few minutes a sweet jasmine appeared, the type of soft jasmine that is calming and soothing. I blind bought it--hesitantly, because of the mixed reviews--but I am a vanilla fiend, and I enjoy quite a few of Dominique Ropion's other scents, so I decided to take the plunge. It’s even gotten me compliments. Probably the best there is. Warm, sweet, boozy, inviting vanilla, so comforting and just a pleasure to inhale. This is so sweet to me! Not the typical cookie like vanilla scent so probably not a safe blind buy. I find the evolution very slow. This transforms the loudness of the day, into the comfort necessary to weather the night, and stifle the tensions of the world around me. I don't need to hunt for any other this is that perfect day / night time scent . Top notes are West Indian Bay, Pink Pepper and Bergamot; middle notes are Heliotrope, Almond and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood and Patchouli. I also like Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay a lot, and although I knew this is a completely different type of perfume (as that one is very lightweight and fresh), I thought I might like the bay leaf note in this one too after all. Elegant crowd pleaser. Sillage low to medium and duration good. It wasn't love at first sight, though, it had to grow on me. Lalique Le Parfum is a beautiful, creamy vanilla and tonka fragrance with a strong aromatic bay leaf note. A very nice vanilla fragrance with a twist from pepper and bay leaf. I honestly didn't like the first time I tried because of the opening but its dry down is so intriguing, captivating and very likeable. 8/10. This is a vanilla with some character and twist and it's a beauty! I guess pictures don't matter any more, because I received the one with "LALIQUE LE PARFUM". It reminds me of the 90's when colognes started to evolve into sweeter blends. My winter elixir and the most surprising perfume I've smelled. Also, my husband hasn't said anything negative, so that's a good sign! i have just bought this perfume and being a great lover of vanille orientals i anticipated a wonderfull experience, but not so.as soon as i applied it,and i must add this is a genuine sealed new unopened bottle,i got a suprise.i dont know what it is. But in such strong and headaching way that I just cannot bear it. If I were a man, I'd follow this scent (and its wearer) till the end of time:). In fact, I was pleasantly surprised! Just one small spray and people will be commenting on it. I’m not going to describe how incredibly nice this fragrance is, as it has been mentioned on this page many times already. I like this scent, but it's bold and I can't think of too many occasions it would be appropriate for. I loooove it! This one is interesting. I am sampling Lalique Le Parfum at the moment and the more I wear it the more I love it. Love it. Much less “classic” than Shalimar, this balmy and balsamic vanilla is warm and delicious, but really needs solidly cold temperatures to shine properly, IMO. A big no from me! Regardless, Ropion remains one of my favorite noses, even though this piece in particular doesn't work for me. I told them, and also that I couldn't smell anything myself, and they insisted that I write down the name of my perfume on a piece of paper. Could also work for a man if adding a tiny bit incense or leather. A great addition to my wardrobe. Wonderful. I love the warmth of the vanilla and the balsamic is prominent to me. It also isn't "beachy", with coconut, melon etc. The spectrum of use is understatedly versatile, and would be welcome in any setting. If you spray this on your clothes it’s gonna be there for days. Some reviews here say it lacks originality and has unisex qualities - I absolutely disagree! Over all it is a nice perfume interesting for a Vanilla perfume. Ridiculously good. It is not quite feminine. 4th bottle - still in love with Lalique le Parfum EdP =). The Helitrope and Jasmine are the main actors here with the Sandalwood and Almonds settling down the flowers to a smooth and rich fragrance. It is a scent that has a unisex let, but cotrolado and nothing aimed at the male side. I don't like it, but I would like it on a guy I think. It is not gourmand or too sweet. It is a soft, sweet, complex and aromatic vanilla. Not especially sweet, not warm or cold, just a very smooth pure vanilla. I was afraid at first knowing that it is a femme fragrance but after reading reviews l blind bought a full bottle. Definitely full bottle worthy. In tiny amounts, I find it calming to sniff. I don't love it but I like its uniqueness. OUTSTANDING! The first spray was a surprise. It has a slight green freshness mixed with a sweet vanilla. This is too plastic to me, so strange and there is no harmony or chic. I am going to stockpile a few of these for gifts (or for myself!) To me the new and the old ones are so similar, that one can make a difference only if they spray both on both hands and compare. I detested this perfume the first time I tried it. It blows its competition to smithereens and mind you it is competing with the best.
